Job Description : As a member of the Icy Strait Point maintenance team, your duties will be to help maintain overall cleanliness and maintenance of the site as outlined below.Primary Responsibilities:Conduct all activities and decisions according to Icy Strait Point’s guiding principles: BAP: Best, Authentic and Profitable (tour destination)Ongoing cleaning of all bathroom facilitiesBuilding and maintaining firesCleaning and maintenance of museumUpkeep of employee housing, bunkhouse and containersRestocking of supplies as neededTrash collectionWash down of docks dailyExtinguisher maintenanceRemoval of cobwebs on exterior and interior of buildings and fencesCleaning and maintenance of administrative offices and kitchen areaCleaning and maintenance of employee break roomStart up and shut down of all facilities on siteLine-handling trained, or willingness to receive training on line-handlingQualifications and Skills:At least 18 years of ageDriver’s License preferredAble to walk a few miles in a work day, moving throughout the siteLift up to 40#Willing to do whatever it takes to get the job doneAble and willing to work long days if necessaryAble to think and move with a sense of urgencyAt ease working independently and as a team memberWillingness to live in small, remote village with minimal servicesWilling to submit to pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion of drug and alcohol testing.High School diploma or equivalentApplication: Apply online at https://apply.coolworks.com/icystraitpoint or in person at the Icy Strait Point office. Paid out at completion of training.· $1200.00 End of Season Incentive Bonus. $200/month May to October, paid at the end of the 2022 season, regardless of contract dates.
