Job Description : Innovative manufacturer of building materials seeking a bright, capable, and trustworthy Operations Supervisor. Our critical infrastructure business provides just-in-time supply of unique and essential products to some of the largest distributors, contractors, and builders in the country.We need a person who acts with situational awareness, overcomes obstacles with planning and effort, and solves problems at their root-cause. This Operations Manager role has a dual focus on production and administrative activities, and you will be responsible for coordinating with other key members of leadership for operational success.This role has a wide range of responsibilities including production coordinating, order troubleshooting, customer facing activities, contributing to administrative processes and other various tasks necessary for daily business. Reason and good judgment will be needed to navigate new and unusual situations. No prior experience in our specific business is needed as we will provide all the necessary technical knowledge. A successful Operations Supervisor will lean-in to the role and invest themselves to make the operation a success.Highlighted Responsibilities:Plans, organizes, and participates in activities related to production, operations, and sales.Measures productivity by analyzing production, finance, and labor data.Consults with potential and existing customers to understand their challenges and identify then suggest products or services that will solve those problems.Establishes, communicates, and implements company policies, practices, and standards to ensure effective and consistent performance.Ensures the business has the materials, supplies, and redundancies needed to operate regardless of COVID-19 related supply chain disruptions.Promotes an atmosphere of continual improvement in productivity, quality, and safety.Ensures decisions and improvement plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, and facilities are vetted, reasonable, and timely.QualificationsAssociates Degree or higher levelAt least 2 years of recent, relevant, and/or progressive leadership experience.Excellent communication skills (in-person, telephone, email, text).Computer savvy with advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite and Google Suite with the ability to self-support for routine matters.
