Position : Operations Support – Investment Ops

Job Description : Job Purpose:
Oversight of Operational delivery of Wealth Management functions.
Liaising with outsourced service provider outside UK to maintain effective oversight and control on process delivery
Working with internal and vendor teams overseeing implementation of changes to processes, controls & documentation.
Key Responsibilities: –
Provide effective oversight of Back Office Operations dealing with Investments Operations supporting all investments product offered by Business. Monitor performance adhere to SLA in terms of accuracy and timelines
Perform day to day monitoring of Key Operational metrics for Investment Operations. Ensure metrics are accurate and any inaccurate/incomplete data is challenged and completed appropriately within existing deadline.
Act as subject matter expert on Investments & work with Local Ops manager to support business on any initiatives.
Understand end to end client journeys and find continuous improvement opportunities and maintain effective control environment
Work closely with Ops Manager to understand changes to regulations and support implementation of changes by engaging key SME in Operations teams onshore and offshore (outsourced service provider) train them and implement process change to comply with new/updated regulations.
Support Operations manager with audit deliverables through coordination with TCS Operations and other internal stakeholders as appropriate.
Update and maintain procedure documents. Also responsible for continuous process reviews (and adherence to process) and improvements in Investments Operations.
Identify new opportunities for process improvements and improve the efficiency and control environment
Ensure all the risks are documented in Citi Risk & Control and deliverables are provided in timely manner. Ensure control breaches are minimised
Monitor progress of Corrective action plan with owners to ensure appropriate action is taken to resolve the breaches/issues and ensure timely completion.
Be an effective back up to Operations Manager in their absence

Knowledge/Experience:
Essential
The ideal candidates will have experience of working in financial services, specifically in Wealth Management Operations
Knowledge of Investment Products & Experience of Trade lifecycle, Settlement & Asset Servicing & Reconciliation processes
Ability to work with minimal supervision within a team environment
Intermediate level in Excel, Visio and Word
Skills:

Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Evidence of using effective planning and organizing skills in a previous role.
