What you will do
Supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. Performs activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process re-engineering. May facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement.
This position requires knowledge that is acquired through experience, specialized education or training. The role has clearly defined procedures and tasks as well as defined guidelines to aid in decision making. The job requires a basic understanding of work routines and procedures in own discipline. The technical procedures for this level are well defined. The job is expected to follow detailed and defined rules / instructions and to make simple judgement in straightforward situations. Typically requires selecting between solutions already established.
Position Requirements
Maintain appropriate gowning requirements, i.e. gown hair nets, beard cover and gloves.
Follow proper procedures to assure the controlled environment is maintained and the product integrity is ensured.
Perform Cleaning operations, Cleanroom operations, Content to Box (CTB) and labeling for Gamma and or Gas Plasma.
Understand and follow all policies and procedures related to GMP/QMS/SOP
Perform 6S, Quality and Safety expectations.
Ability to wear appropriate PPE to include a minimum of safety shoes.
Demonstrated computer skills.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Must be willing and able to work mandatory weekday and weekend overtime hours as required to meet the production needs of the team.
Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work successfully in a team-based environment that heavily emphasizes quality, performance, cross-training, customer service and high accountability.
Requires ability to lift/carry 10-50 lbs. on a frequent basis depending on product line, may rarely lift/carry 50-75 lbs.
Job demands include prolonged stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing and/or crawling as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
1 to 2 years of experience.
High School diploma or equivalent.
