Job Description : Must be vaccinated (religious or medical exemption accepted)Must-Have: 5 + years’ experience with professional billing3+ years of managerial experienceExperience with Epic Resolute patient accounting systemExperience with professional fee billing, academic departments, third party carriers, and special reimbursement programs and determining which reporting methods would best suit the needs of the client departmentsDay to day: This position is responsible for providing analytical, research and statistical support to the professional billing group. The Professional Billing Group provides billing and collection services to about 1,200 + faculty physicians and other healthcare providers. Please see a breakdown of the day to day!35% of time is spent focused on Client Department RelationsWork closely with the Billing Group Managers to identify and resolve problems and provide information to assist in adjudicating outstanding claims as well as provide feedback and follow up25% of time is spent on Information AnalysisAnalyze EPIC reports and create ad-hoc reports to meet the needs of the client departments20% of time is spent on Report Design and developmentCreate ad-hoc reports, act as liaison with departments to define reporting info and requirements10% of time is spent on Project ManagementAssist users and other analysts, establish objectives and standards and assign resources.10% of time is shared between Financial Analysis and other dutiesReview and Analysis of the professional fee schedule, fee assessment, and financial impact on reimbursement, RBRVS, CRVS and other reimbursement methodologiesJob Type: Full-timePay: $75,000.00 – $100,000.00 per yearSchedule:8 hour shiftApplication Question(s):Are you fully vaccinated for this opportunity with the exception of religious or medical exemption?Education:Associate (Preferred)Experience:Professional Billing: 3 years (Required)Epic: 3 years (Required)Work Location: One location
