Job Description : Production Team MemberReports To: VP of ProductionJob Location: The Organic Snack Company14 Commerce CourtBedford, PA 15522Production Team Members will be in flexible positions and will be responsible for various duties including:Production Line Operations (mixing, making, and packaging)Warehouse Inventory ManagementShipping and FulfillmentCleaning and SanitizingRecord KeepingJOB REQUIREMENTSWe are looking for Production Team Members who are eager to try out new tasks and to help us craft an efficient and productive team. Motivated Production Team Members will find ample opportunities to advance professionally as we develope our workforce and look to promote internally to shift leaders. Production Team Members need to be adaptable to meet the various needs of our facility. All Production Team Members must possess the following qualifications: High School Diploma or GED18 Years or olderMust submit to drug screening and background checkAbility to lift 50 lbs. and pushing/pulling a loaded Experience operating forklifts, pallet jack weighing 2,000 lbs. pallet jacks, and other warehouseAll Production Team Members will have the following primary responsibilities:Following food safety guidelines and standardsMaintain attention to detail and quality control work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.Maintaining a clean workspace and production areaFollowing production guidelines and specificationsPerforming other tasks as assignedGood mechanical ability, knowledge and use of computer skills (understanding good judgement. operation of production lineAbility to multitask effectively computers)Able to work overtime as needed, including guidelines and best practices during emergenciesProduction Team Members will have the following primary responsibilities:Following food safety guidelines and standardsMaintain attention to detail and quality controlWork in a constant state of alertness and safe mannerMaintaining a clean workspace and production areaFollowing production guidelines and specificationsPerforming other tasks as assignedExperience operating food production equipment or working in an industrial kitchenExperience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehousse equipmentBasic computer stills(Email /Microsoft office) and advanced computer skills(understanding operating of production line computers)Experience with food safety guidelines and best practices’Job Type: Full-timePay: $15.00 – $17.00 per hourBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftWeekend availabilitySupplemental Pay:Signing bonusAbility to commute/relocate:Bedford, PA 15522: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Work Location: One location
