Job Description : TCM Restoration and Cleaning is an award-winning Cleaning and Restoration company. Since opening our doors in 1996, the company has grown every year and we continue to grow.This position can work out of either the Anchorage or Palmer location.Position Summary / PurposeCreate high levels of customer satisfaction by exceeding their expectations and fulfilling the company’s contractual obligations through the timely and profitable delivery of restoration services.Facilitate the timely and profitable delivery of all services required to rapidly return customer’s property to pre-loss condition, minimizing repairs and downtime following property damage.Principle Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform Inspections and write reportsSecure projectsWrite project estimates using xactimateNegotiate and obtain written contracts and payment terms for projectsPlan and execute projects to completionCoordinate project execution with Project ManagerCoordinate estimates from SubcontractorsComplete paperwork for closing contracts, receiving payments and facilitating project executionFollow through on the project to write supplements and change ordersReconcile claim estimates and supplements with insurance adjustersAdditional Duties and ResponsibilitiesAttend quarterly company meetingsParticipate in semi-monthly construction meetingsPerform production work (as necessary)Communicate with customers (maintain contact with all parties as needed. May include third party owners, building engineers, property mgrs, tenants, etc.)Maintain project filesSecure Client paymentsCreate and maintain Client relationshipsWorking Relationships and ScopeWorks with Project Manager to review job estimates.Coordinates with Marketing for follow-up and job evaluation with customersCoordinates with customer and administration function for timely collection of project paymentPerformance CompetenciesOral Communication– The individual speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations. Effectively uses communication devices and technology to collect, review and forward field activity reporting.Working ConditionsThe work of this position is sometimes carried out in a job site environment. Employee will encounter facilities where standing water and sewage are present, heat is unavailable due to lack of utilities, fire damage has occurred and mold or other organic growth exists.Qualifications – Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesEducation and Experience-High School diploma or GED plus three (3) to five (5) years of experience managing or estimating construction or restoration projects. Advanced knowledge of building construction, remodeling or restoration.Technical skills-Proficient technical skills, experience and certification in the areas of service the company provides.Mathematical skills-Adequate math skills. Effectively project job costs.Negotiation skills-Wins by creating advocates, not enemies, when negotiatingComputer skills-Demonstrates intermediate to advanced proficiency in the use of computers and computer software, especially MS Word and Excel. Experience with Xactimate software is a plusListening skills-Effective in receiving feedback and input from customers and employees, probing for additional information or unspoken issues and providing timely response.Requirements:TCM hires the highest quality individuals to serve our customers.
