Job Description : Job Description
The Psychiatric Care Technician functions as an integral member of a team of care providers. The team provides patient care and supportive services that are directed at achievement of patient care outcomes. Patients & their family will benefit from patient focused care through the integrated skills of the team. The Psychiatric Care Technician is responsible for providing a variety of direct & indirect patient care activities as supervised & directed by the Patient Care Coordinator. Care is provided in collaboration with the patient, family and other members of the team. Overall responsibilities are to assist the team in meeting patient care needs. Position located at University Hospitals.

Minimum Education Required
2-Year College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Qualifications
Associate Degree in mental health technology or equivalent skills based on work experience and successful completion of designated portions of PCA training as appropriate;
Regular 36 Varying Shifts
