Job Description : Job Summary/Company:
Sparks Group has partnered with a large retailer who is seeking a front desk administrator for a contract to hire role based in their headquarters in Arlington, Virginia. Our client’s HQ is a fast paced, energetic environment and this role will have a great deal of interaction with managers of various departments. The ideal candidate must have strong customer service skills, a can do attitude and ability to assist with ad hoc tasks as required. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates and junior-level professionals to get their foot in the door with a large organization that offers tremendous growth potential!
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist visitors
Maintain visitor log, badges, and assist with all inquiries
Maintain a safe and clean reception area
Walk common spaces and document work order requests
Prepare and break down conference spaces
Oversee inventory to ensure kitchen, coffee areas, and supplies are fully stocked
Assist the facilities department with additional duties as assigned
Qualifications/Background Profile:
High school diploma required; college degree preferred
Strong proficiency in MS Office
Must have prior customer service experience
Prior office experience is preferred
Personable and professional demeanor
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Ability to take direction
