Job Description : We are looking for a Recruitment Specialist to undertake all hiring activities, from advertising open roles to interviewing candidates to closing hires and managing the onboarding process. Recruitment Specialist responsibilities include connecting with potential candidates from a variety of sources, screening applications, and supporting the administrative team. If you have experience evaluating candidates for roles in construction or a related field, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will be responsible for hiring qualified people while maintaining a positive candidate experience.ResponsibilitiesCreate and publish job ads in various portalsNetwork with potential hires through professional groups on social media and during eventsCollaborate with leadership to set qualification criteria for future employeesScreen resumes and job applicationsConduct initial phone screens to create shortlists of qualified candidatesInterview candidates in-person for a variety of roles- primarily general and skilled labor positionsTrack hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill, and source of hireDesign, distribute and measure the results of candidate experience surveysTrain and advise leadership on interviewing techniques and assessment methodsHost and participate in job fairsFollow up with candidates throughout the hiring processMaintain a database of potential candidates for future job openingsSkillsProven experience as a Recruitment Specialist, Recruiter or similar roleExperience in construction recruiting preferredHands-on experience with the largest job sites like ZipRecruiter and IndeedKnowledge of sourcing techniques on social media and niche professional websites like LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, experience with Criteria (formerly HireSelect) is a plusStrong interpersonal skillsGood written and verbal communications skillsTeam spiritExperience with human resources functions preferred but not requiredJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $52,000.00 – $69,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insurancePaid time offProfessional development assistanceReferral programTuition reimbursementSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:Employees will be advised of current COVID-19 protocols upon hire.Work Location: One location
