Position : Regional Operations Manager

Job Description : **Company working remote due to Covid-19. Position typically works from home or travel from time-to-time.Perform duties independently under minimal supervision within specific assignments; research, or analyze data. Make recommendations to executive management about procedural practices and other complex business problems. Responsible for analyzing, evaluating and integrating business processes and procedures, as well as, write logical, comprehensive, concise reports and correspondence by applying technical competency for parallel projects that adversely or overtly affects city, county, and/or state agencies/communities.Responsibilities:Meet or exceed throughput target of 480/cell/day (single wash), 750 (double wash)Ensure LEAN process is standardized regionallySOP standardization regionallyDamages are captured in GEMS and timely exports to GPRTo ensure that LSP relationships are set up for future continuous improvement and to lead review processes which ensures delivery of on-going improvementProactively source for new LSP to ensure keep abreast of new opportunityInbound/Outbound/Damages are timely scanned & uploaded to GEMSAchieve cost control, cost reduction and cost containment targets, and add value to area of expenditure through a strong total cost of ownership orientation and process managementAssist on ad-hoc reporting matters or any other assigned taskMeet EHS depot complianceAccomplishes depot operations, human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning; enforcing policies and procedures.Achieves depot operations operational objectives by contributing depot operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends.Meets depot operation objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions for depot operations.Administer and implement Goodpack’s Depot SOP by determining product handling and storage requirements; enforcing, and evaluating policies and procedures; processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.Maintain planning layout, product flow, and product handling systems; evaluating and recommending new equipment.Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations for all state and federal entities and governmental agencies.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal and professional networks; participating in professional organizations.Accomplishes depot operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed.Assist and maintain appropriate inventory levels (2-day DOI Inventory) and product loss control. Oversee shipping and receiving functions as applicable. Allocate necessary space for stock rotation (FIFO Operations).Functioning as a liaison between corporate and 3PL’s by combining business-planning expertise.Analyzing business day-to-day operations, and translating business requirements into business process changes conducive for interpreting data to help facilitate effective deployment of current practices.Consults with functional unit management and personnel to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access.Acts as a liaison between departmental end-users, technical analysts, information technology analysts, consultants and other governmental organizations in the analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of case management systems to ensure optimal operational performance.Tracks and fully documents changes for functional and business specifications; writes detailed universally understood procedures for permanent records and for use in training.Identifies opportunities for improving business processes through information systems and/or non-system driver changes; assists in the preparation of proposals to develop new systems and/or operational changes.Directs or participates in studies of new and existing programs and special projects to determine feasibility, resolve problems including organizational, procedural, technical and fiscal research and analysis; develops policy and procedures to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and/or improve internal and external customer service; develops information system documentation to support efficient depot operations; prepares reports and written findings and recommendations; and monitors changes.Job Type: Full-timePay: $115,000.00 – $130,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:3PL: 5 years (Preferred)Supply Chain & Logistics: 5 years (Preferred)Operations: 5 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
