Position : Security Manager
Job Description : Are you a Security professional with a penchant for employee training? Then apply for a high-profile career in our unique environment! You will be responsible for redesigning and implementing company-wide security protocol and the overall safety of the company and its employees.
Compensation:
$90,000 – $150,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
Manage an effective strategy to assess and mitigate risk, maintain continuity of operations, and safeguard the organization.
Identify, develop, implement, train, and maintain security processes, practices, and policies throughout the company to reduce risks, respond to incidents, and limit exposure and liability.
Coordinate and implement onsite and offsite security, operations, and activities to ensure the protection of all employees, visitors, and assets.
Issuing Temp Badges.
Alarm System activity monitoring.
Daily alarm and auto arm report review.
Badge reissues include updating parking and building access.
User code lookups.
Door access and alarm access authorizations and updates.
Visitor Authorization.
Monitor and address RT Security requests.
Supervise and direct the SOC and personnel.
Update schedule of events for SOC and Lockdown procedures.
Alarms:
Respond to Alarm calls.
Update to current alarm access (authorization, programming, follow-up).
Program new alarm codes for vaulted areas and update authority with user training (SOC authorization, programming, follow-up).
Updating Dispatch with test notifications, call lists, and point descriptions.
Monitoring ENTRE alarm to insure all panels are connected and reporting properly.
Working with IT and/or outside vendor when there is a problem with the system.
Access control:
Update to current badge access (authorization, programing, follow-up).
Quarterly audits on high-value area access.
Monitor access control software to ensure all panels are connected and communicating properly.
Work with IT and/or outside vendors to ensure the program is working properly.
Badge supply ordering- ink, lanyards, covers.
Creating and printing visitor badges.
Fielding user calls for access, forgotten codes, badge lockouts, and alarm operation questions.
CCTV:
Daily monitoring.
Research events and pull footage when necessary.
Daily check to insure ALL cameras are functioning properly.
Security :
Write Security plans for on-site and off-site events.
Schedule security for special events.
Travel to off-site events to oversee security when needed.
Schedule security for local pickups and deliveries when needed.
Manage relationships with security vendors and approve invoices.
Update RISK360 reporting system for incident reports.
Policy and Procedure:
Review and update the Security Policy manual and addendums.
Review and update Travel Policy.
Develop, document, and implement the company-wide security training programs.
Qualifications:
Experience designing/redesigning and implementing a company-wide security protocol.
5+ years of law enforcement or equivalent security/military experience required.
3+ years of experience in a leadership role.
Personal Protection Officer certification.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically Word and Excel.
Ability to effectively communicate, train, and develop consensus with all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills in a high-pressure environment.
Must have a positive attitude with exceptional customer service skills.
Individuals must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Occasional out-of-state travel to auctions is required.
