This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals interested in a career in health care or working in a dental office. As a sterilization technician, you will receive on the job training to prepare you for a career as a dental assistant.Responsibilities: Sterilization Technicians assist the dental care team with the following patient care duties:Prepare work areas for treatments and proceduresSterilize dental instrumentsCheck sterile supplies to ensure that they are not outdatedDeliver tools to specified locations in the officeDisinfect and sterilize tools, equipment, chairs, counters and surfaces, using sterilizers, aerators, or washersMaintain records of inventory or tool usage and relay information to office manager to replenish supplies when inventory is lowStock dental suppliesChildren’s Dental Health has been providing quality pediatric dental care to the community for more than 40 years.
