Position : SUPPORT DESK MANAGER

Job Description : Under the direction of the Director of Information Technology, the Support Desk Manager oversees and manages the support desk function and the IT Technicians, ensuring that end users are receiving the appropriate service and assistance. This includes the management of all procedures related to the identification, prioritization, and resolution of end user support requests, including the monitoring, tracking, and coordination of IT Support Desk functions. The Support Desk Manager will also contribute to problem resolution by giving in-person, hands-on support to end users at the desktop level. The Support Desk Manager also works closely with IT management and decision makers in other departments in order to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.

Starting Pay Rate: $81,600 – $102,000/Annually

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education
High School diploma or GED certificate.
A+ Certification and/or Microsoft Certified Professional Certification preferred.

Experience
Minimum of three (3) years experience in computer repair or related field.

Additional Requirements
Exceptional knowledge of computer hardware, including Microsoft products and database applications, e-mail and Internet.
Demonstrated progressive experience in the supervision of a technical support team preferred.
Proven track record of developing and providing Service Level Agreements and Support Desk deliverables.
Ability to motivate and direct staff members.
Strong understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skills.
Strong documentation skills.
Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required.
Ability to absorb and retain information quickly.
Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language to non-technical staff and end users.
Keen attention to detail.
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Exceptional customer service orientation.
Employee must apply for, receive, and maintain a gaming license from the Gaming Commission.

Please note that interview travel and relocation expenses will not be reimbursed for this position.
