Job Description : Responsibilities

I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides a high level of service to our internal and external customers and partners.Performs full-cycle recruiting, including all functions related to hiring qualified personnel and facilitating the onboarding process (background checks, physical exams, scheduling first day).Provides administration and maintenance of employment-related programs.Coordinates team-wide recruitment efforts such as website postings, external job board postings, social media campaigns, etc.Provides support for special talent acquisition projects.Represents The Queen’s Health Systems (QHS) in a highly professional, knowledgeable and positive manner.
II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Essential: finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, and speaking.Frequent: walking, sitting, lifting and carrying usual weight of 5 pounds.Occasional: standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, twisting body, lifting and carrying weights of up to 10 pounds, reaching above, at and below shoulder level, repetitive arm/hand motions, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods, frequent gripping of an object.Operates a telephone, computer, printer, fax and copier.
III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.
IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business, communication, hospitality or related field; or four (4) years of HR administrative/support experience may substitute for educational requirement.
B. EXPERIENCE:
In addition to education requirement, two (2) years of experience in any one or combination of HR recruitment, onboarding, compensation, benefits and/or service center.Experience to demonstrate:
o Knowledge of employment law and other regulatory and statutory requirements.
o Proficiency in Microsoft (Outlook, Word and Excel).
o Ability to conduct business professionally and maintain high levels of productivity working independently and remotely.
Experience with virtual meeting platforms preferred.Direct customer service/sales experience preferred.Healthcare experience preferred.HRIS experience in PeopleSoft highly desirable.
