HOW YOU WILL IMPACT OUR MISSION
The Ticket Seller provides onsite guest service and processes admissions ticket sales along with other administrative duties. This position reports to the Admissions Lead, Supervisor and Manager.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Opens and closes cash register in ticket booths
Counts cash and gives correct change
Assists in performing general clerical work in Admissions office
Provides general information to our guests
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Dynamic individuals who can provide our guests with an exceptional customer service experience. Requirements include a positive attitude, ability to take initiative, be a team player and have the ability to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers and an eagerness to put your passion for wildlife to work. Working in parking lot booths within a small outdoor location collecting parking fees and doing traffic control. Interested applicants to be available two days during the week, holidays and weekends required. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to apply. Bilingual applicants are highly desired.
JOB EXPERIENCE
Training and/or experience that would demonstrate the essential functions, knowledge and skills listed.

Basic computer skills

Perform arithmetical calculations
Deal tactfully and courteously with the public
Accurately count money and make correct change
Understand and communicate directions or instructions

IMPORTANT DETAILS
Location: Escondido, CA
Duration: Union Hourly Non-Exempt Union Position – If selected, there will be fees and dues to be paid to the Union
Hourly Rate: $15.00 and SDZWA is pleased to offer a $1200 signing bonus for all new employees hired through April of 2022.
