Job Description : Utility Pole Inspector/Field Data SpecialistJob DescriptionRPG Resources, LLC (RPG) is a certified small business founded in 2019. RPG Resources is an established field service company in the Marcellus Gas region. We are currently hiring Field Data Specialist in response to a growing demand for new business opportunities in the telecom industry. The need for qualified individuals in this sector has created immediate full-time career opportunities operating out of our Carnegie, PA office.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES- Inspection of telecom infrastructure, and be able to record data concisely via iPad data collection, must be able to physically walk over differing terrain with outdoor elements, must be able to carry 25lbs and operating data collection equipment accurately);- Record utility pole attachments owners and heights, be able to determine the difference between telephone, cable (coax) fiber optic, and electric service providers.- Calibration of field data collection instruments.- Drive safely in urban, residential, and rural areas to reach access points.- Able to follow work orders and finish all assignments.This position will require out of town travelMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Any combination of education, experience and training equivalent to graduation from high school plus two years of work experience. Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and pass a drug screening.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Clear and concise oral and written communication.- Must be self-motivated- Excellent organizational skills.- Experience using Microsoft Office computer software.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS- This position requires one to be able to walk/traverse rough, icy, broken terrain; go up and down steep hills and slopes. Must have the ability to work in extreme temperatures and inclement weather conditions.- Must be able to carry 25lbs and operate data collection equipment accuratelyAll required safety and other training required for the position will be provided by the company.Company truck provided.RPG offers an excellent benefits package, including health and dental insurance, 401(k) with company matching, profit sharing, and incentive bonus program.
