Job Description : Job Scope This position will coordinate Le Jardin Academy’s expense, payable, and purchasing processes. This position will also explore opportunities for improvement, system implementation, and excellent customer service.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport administrators, faculty and staff in sourcing classroom and administrative materials and supplies, technology hardware and software, furnishings and other equipment essential to the running of the schoolIdentify, purchase and distribute the materials needed at the best pricing and in a timely and ethical fashionCoordinate logistics for special projects such as inventory and distribution of emergency supplies, furniture and people moves and equipment servicingEstablish partnerships with external vendors including payment processes, items lists, and purchasing discountsProcess invoices for payment in a timely and accurate mannerEducate employees of LJA in the ways to process financial transactions and requestsReconciles credit card expenses monthlyPrepare and perform check runsPrepare and send data needed for external check processingPerform month-end procedures to ensure completeness and accuracy of expenses and payablesResponsible for monthly General Excise returnsResponsible for annual 1099 reportingUpdate and maintain disbursement and receiving policies and proceduresAssist with annual compliance and financial audits as necessaryProtects organization’s value by keeping information confidentialUpdates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networksOther duties as requestedJob Type: Full-timePay: From $20.00 per hourSchedule:Monday to FridayWork Location: One location
