Position : Aircraft Cabin Cleaner

Job Description : As a member of our cabin cleaning team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient cleaning of aircraft cabins. Some of the duties will include preparing cleaning solvents for use, vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, and disinfecting the aircraft cabin. Cleaning solvents need to be stored correctly after use and all soiled linens deposited into laundry bins. You will be driving and operating small specialized commercial vehicles at times and as such you will require a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. You and your team will be required to maintain a safe and secure work environment, in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesRemove blankets and pillows and replace them with clean onesEnsure all cleaning solvents are stored correctly after useEnsure that all cleaning equipment is in working order and that all protective clothing is worn as instructedDeposit all soiled linens into laundry binsAdhere to Menzies uniform guidelines and code of conductOperate small specialized commercial vehiclesMaintain a safe and secure work environment, in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and proceduresOther duties as assignedQualificationsMust be 18 years of age or olderPossess and maintain a valid US driver’s licenseMust be able to pass all pre-employment testing to include drug testing and a physicalAbility to proficiently read, write and speak EnglishMust be comfortable lifting 70 lbs repetitivelyMust be able to obtain and maintain all required Airports and Custom badges/sealsMust be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidaysThe job is done both in and outdoors which will require you to work in all weather conditionsPrevious cabin cleaning experience preferredKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to learn quicklyAbility to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when neededStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to work as part of a teamAbility to build relationshipsand Pet Insurance PlanUniform ProvidedDRIVERS LICENSEEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
