Using your strong communication and problem-solving skills — along with your wide range of financial knowledge — you have the ability to anticipate every customer’s needs. Citizens entered into an agreement to acquire 80 east coast branches and the national online deposit business from HSBC. This transaction – which expected to close in the first quarter of 2022 – provides us with an attractive entry into the important New York City Metro, Washington D.C. and Southeast Florida markets. It serves as a springboard for our consumer national expansion strategy.

What you’ll do:
Work closely with new and existing customers to understand their financial needs and deepen relationships
Recommend financial solutions to satisfy spending, saving, borrowing, and investing needs
Help customers use online, mobile and ATM banking
Acquire new customers through outbound calling and in-branch prospecting
Collaborate with your partners in Wealth, Mortgage and Business Banking to help customers with more complex financial needs
Provide additional Teller support for customer transactions

Contact customers to schedule time to discuss their personal financial goals
Help customers fit banking into their everyday lives
Comply with all financial policies and procedures, state and local laws and regulations
Work together with branch colleagues to meet individual and team goals

Qualifications
High School degree or GED required
Minimum of 2 years of sales and customer service experience required
Minimum of 6 months cash handling experience in a retail or banking environment required
Strong listening and customer service skills
Effectively ask questions and identify customer needs

Ability to build relationships over the phone

Comfortable using technology

Ability to problem-solve and provide solutions to customer issues
Desire to collaborate and partner with colleagues

Self-motivated, confident and ability to multitask effectively
Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings
Meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including, but not limited to successful completion of the required background checks and obtaining a Unique Identifier from the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
