Job Description : Role SummaryA Brand Specialist is responsible for managing the company’s brands and individual products while developing plans that support lines of service, brand objectives, increased sales and increased Brand/Company awareness to the market and consumer.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and enhance the company’s brand and reputation to the market/end consumerSupport sales team with dispensary In-Store Pop-ups, staff trainings, special events, and promotions.Survey stores for inventory management, POS, trainings, promotional and new product placement opportunitiesOverall market information to understand trends, new products and sales strategiesCreate and develop dispensary staff incentives, contests and in-store featuresCreate and develop dispensary staff facility tours (4/mo.) and company focused eventsCoordinate objectives with marketing and sales departmentsEnsure merchandising and brand placement to company standardsEngage consumers at point of purchase to increase brand awareness and conversionDrive profitable sales, brand growth and loyalty for several business areasDevelop and execute brand management plansIdentify brand-building areas to include increased product/brand placements (monthly goal assigned monthly/quarterly)Coordinate and manage content and information sharing among departments, divisions and external customers and social mediaEvaluate customer objectives and provide solutions to generate additional salesContribute to company success by increasing sales and profits through new business development and/or growing organically existing key customers, developing relationships with key decision makersAvailability to work evenings and weekends as neededAdditional responsibilities as assigned by managementSupervisory ResponsibilitiesNoneRequired SkillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environmentProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwarePhysical DemandsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Travel RequiredLocal travel to dispensaries is required on a weekly basisEducation and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a relevant field preferred2+ years’ experience in sales, knowledge of CBD & CBN preferredCannabis industry knowledge and experience preferredOther ResponsibilitiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
