We are currently hiring a General Manager. Job Summary The General Manager role is responsible for delivering “Extraordinary Service” by performing the following duties: managing day-to-day operations of the unit’s performance, cost, revenue, labor, inventory control, quality of products and customer service. Other important duties include food safety, safety, managing employee relations, coaching and counseling, training and development, and adhering to compliance and standards set forth by the company, brand, and regulatory agencies.The ability to work as part of a team, and lead the team is extremely important. The idealGeneral Manager would be described as an individual who is trustworthy, dependable, coachable, reliable, independent, enthusiastic, and highly energetic. The Operations Manager plays a major role in cultivating a great work environment by supporting team members and providing an outstanding experience for our guests.Position QualificationsAt least 5 years of experience restaurant management experience.Current or ability to obtain the ServSafe Food Manager’s CertificationBachelor of Science degree in hotel/restaurant management is desirable. A combination of practical experience and education will be considered as an alternative.Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. and perform essential job functions such as standing, bending, reaching, gripping, climbing on a ladder, and walking long distances.Standing for long periods and the ability to work in an environment with varying temperatures.Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports.Proficiency is required in reading, writing, Microsoft Office, and basic mathematics.Ability to read and understand P&L statements, sales reports, etc.Experience with cash handling and loss preventionAbility to manage labor and create a work schedule for all shifts neededImportantThe airport is open 7 days per week and 365 days per year.
