Position : Clerk – Gift Shop
Job Description : Cape Fox Lodge is immediately seeking a clerk to assist our guests. The Clerk will welcome all guests and assist in their needs pertaining to the Gift Shop and other areas of the Lodge. These duties will include, but not limited to: keeping the tour site and store appearance free from litter and debris, assist in tour flow, public presentations, stocking store merchandise and other duties assigned.
The Clerk should have knowledge of commonly-used company concepts, practices, and procedures within the organization. The Clerk will also rely on instructions and pre-established, commonly known guidelines provided to perform the functions of the position. This and other duties may be required at the direction of the General Manager.

Job Requirements
Must be personable and friendly with good communication skills
Must be willing to work a variable work schedule
Must be able to work a cash register and have good typing skills
Must have adequate knowledge of local environment and Cultural history, practices and lifestyle of today
Previous experience in tourism is desired.
Must be self-motivated
Must be able work with difficult customers/guests in a professional manner
Must be able to walk a couple of blocks at a time.
Must be able to sit or stand throughout a regular work day.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Long hours and weekends may be required pending tour schedule.
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
