C&G Services is an independent delivery service partner for Amazon seeking drivers to deliver Amazon packages.
We are seeking drivers who are reliable, motivated, and ready to work every day to get the job done safely! Ideal candidates are energetic, team players and ready to take control of their careers. Successful drivers put safety first and care deeply about customer satisfaction and meet high level performance expectations.
Starting salary is $16.50 per hour for drivers. Additional benefits include: accrued personal time off (PTO), health insurance compensation, and opportunities for regular incentive bonus rewards!
Requirements: Candidates must be (at least) 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license in good standing issued by the state of Florida. Candidates must consent to pre-employment screening which also includes a review of your motor vehicle driving record and a 5-panel drug test. We provide branded vans and uniforms, GPS devices, all the tools/technology to make your position safe and continued support and driver safety monitoring for all employees!
Responsibilities:
Load van with containers / packages before route departure
Conduct a morning and end-of-day vehicle inspection
Assist co-workers loading their vans to ensure a timely departure from the Amazon station
Deliver products and *smiles* to customers in a timely manner
On the road (OTR) up to 10-hour shifts, delivering to routes w/in a 70-mile radius
Handle physical work i.e. climb in/out trucks, use of stairs, lift containers w/o issue
Perform responsibilities during inclement weather conditions
Fuel up upon returning to the Amazon station
Return and document accordingly any undeliverable packages
Maintain assigned van as if your own
Be competent and efficient on GPS device, and be able to troubleshoot, if necessary
Be open to assisting in other capacities, as needed
Follow Amazon designated safety protocol and procedures
Willing to assist co-workers in a supportive way
Qualifications:
Must be (at least) 21 years of age
Must have good communication and customer service skills
Experience in delivery driving not necessary, but beneficial
A valid driver’s license issued by the state of Florida (CDL not req’d)
Ability to handle physical workload and lift packages up to 70 lbs.
Must be able to navigate a GPS system safely and comfortably
Successfully complete all pre-employment checks
