Job Description : Job Title: Associate Relations Manager – CorporatePosition SummaryCoordinate and implement the strategic direction of associate relations for the General Office as part of the Associate Relations Center of Excellence (COE). Develop and direct the strategic direction for projects and provide timely updates to the various Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) and the VP, Associate & Labor Relations. Proactively work with other functions of the business to address associate issues and opportunities. Work with the site Human Resources leaders and the General Office HRBPs to provide insights into trends and best practices for the identified areas.Essential Job FunctionsPartner with the corporate HRBPs and HR Generalists to drive the desired culture of the business unitsDirect positive associate relations efforts, including collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the continued engagement of associatesConduct investigations of corporate matters that are complex and sensitive in nature (i.e., workplace violence, sexual harassment, hostile work environment) and follow up with the business unit any findings and recommended resolutionsCoach and provide training on general investigation processes to HR Generalists for less complex investigationsWork with other HR COEs, (Recruiting, Total Rewards), legal, policy/procedure owners and other business department partners to resolve issuesServe as the primary contact for non-executive reported issues such as G.O. Associate Connect and general complaint lettersManage the process and potentially investigate Ethics Point matters for resolutionReview data from Analytics team and the various HR COEs to address identified trends in the key area of accountability (associate surveys, action plans, etc.)Coach, train and educate corporate leaders on matters regarding associate relationsEngage in associate survey data, grievance tracking, exit interview data and other reporting regarding the associate experienceTravel independently up to 30% of time to conduct site visits and assist HRBPsMust be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodationMinimum Position Qualifications5+ years in labor relations or comparable experienceDemonstrate sound business judgment and the ability to work successfully with all levels of associates, backgrounds, and perspectivesProven ability to meet business needs; build productive customer relationships; and take responsibility for customer satisfactionAbility to work effectively and cooperatively with others, establishing and maintaining good working relationshipsAbility to identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities; collecting and comparing data from different sources to draw conclusionsAbility to escalate issues appropriately and drive them to resolutionProven ability to maintain confidentiality of files, conversations, and documentsEffective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly express thoughts to others and exchange informationWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteDesired Previous Experience/EducationBachelor’s Degree in human resourcesSenior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) or Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification, Certification in Wicklander-Zulawski interview techniquesAny senior/HR Generalist experienceAny associate protection experienceJob Type: Full-timePay: $62,000.00 – $100,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programEmployee discountFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offParental leaveProfessional development assistanceRelocation assistanceRetirement planTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSupplemental Pay:Bonus payWork Location: One location
