Job Description : Company Overview:Light of Hope, Inc. is a leading provider of free on-site testing for HIV in the local community of Broward County, FL. The needs of patients come first. As part of our mission, Light of Hope appropriately serves patients in difficult financial circumstances and offers assistance to those who have an established need to receive pharmacy services.Position Summary:Light of Hope, Inc recently launched a 340B Pharmacy Program and seeks an enthusiastic and passionate Executive Director. The 340B Executive Director will manage 340B compliance to federal regulations, HRSA guidelines, develop policies and procedures, perform ongoing analysis and audits of the program and data validation to ensure accurate and optimal performance, manage relationships with the organization’s contract pharmacies, coordinate operational efforts from supporting departments, participate in development and roll out of additional program opportunities, and create program and financial reports for the Finance Department and agency leadership, among other duties. With in-depth understanding of healthcare operations, the 340B program, and the pharmacy industry; the 340B Executive Director will have the exciting opportunity to further develop this new initiative and help it grow to support services for low-income and vulnerable populations in our community.Position Primary Responsibilities:· Compliance and oversight expert on 340B program rules, policies and governance as it pertains to all organizational, regional, state, and federal standards along with awareness of any and all policy changes directed by outside governance· Create and lead Oversight and Quality Management committee to maintain full health and operations as it relates to the effective execution of all 340B program benefits and services· Network and maintain internal and external relationships as positive net effect for 340B program; patients, doctors, hospitals, 340B attorneys, pharmacy representatives and drug wholesalers· Create internal policies, procedures and business plans to dictate LoH optimal operations· Train staff on internal and external 340B policies and procedures; demonstrating their job function correlation impact as well as publishing any policy changes and revisions· Perform monthly, quarterly and annual internal audits on but not limited to contracts, points of service, billing, procurement, outpatient prescriptions, 340B guidelines, HRSA’s OPA guidelines and the such while maintaining a persistent environment of audit readiness· Schedule, coordinate and oversee independent external audits whether on mock or required basis by governing organizations and maintaining accurate records and documents of internal compliance efforts· Manage and negotiate any new 340B contracts; maintain existing· Work with accounting department to develop monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and metrics· Ensure compliance with regulations related to 340B program purchasing and maintenance· Monitor drug pricing, exclusions and inventory control levels with appropriate frequency· Ensure all registration or recertification with existing entity’s is completed within appropriate timeframe· Management reserves the right to add or change the duties of this position at any timeMinimum Qualifications:· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Health Sciences, Health Administration, or related field is required· Minimum of 5-7 years of experience working in a healthcare setting· Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and ability to set priorities and make critical decisions· Effective oral and written communication skills, including interpersonal and team skills· Managerial effectiveness, problem solving, and change management capabilities· Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of project management, process design, and continuous quality improvement· Experience leading and facilitating work teams, especially across departments· Systems thinker with strong organizational skills· Ability to develop business plans and financial forecasts· Demonstrated ability to relate to people living with HIV/AIDS from diverse backgrounds· Must be able to complete a criminal background check in order to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card within 90 days of hire· Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, and Powerpoint· Superior skills in Microsoft Office ExcelPreferred Qualifications:· Advanced degree in healthcare leadership, healthcare management, or other related field· Experience managing a 340B covered entity with grant-based eligibility· 340B Apexus Certified Expert (ACE) (required within 6 months of start date)· Experience with Practice Fusion· Experience with Careware 6· Experience with QuickBooksBenefits:· 401(k)· Health insurance· 8 paid holidays· Paid time offLocation: Fort Lauderdale, FLEEO:Light of Hope, Inc provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation and training.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $95,000.00 per yearBenefits:Health insurancePaid time offProfessional development assistanceRetirement planSchedule:10 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayOvertimeAbility to commute/relocate:Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:340B: 2 years (Preferred)Non profit: 2 years (Preferred)Language:Spanish (Preferred)Haitian Creole (Preferred)Work Location: One location
