Job Description : Hope Community Resources is a non-profit organization providing community supports to hundreds of individuals and families who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injury and mental health challenges. The Human Resources Specialist provides services to Hope support recipients through their work in carrying out the hiring and onboarding functions of the Agency with minimal supervision. This position is responsible for ensuring the necessity of job postings, pre-screening applicants, performing interviews, conducting reference checks, hiring new employees into appropriate Agency departments, and assuring the completeness of applications and hire packets per established guidelines. The Human Resource Specialist must ensure that all hiring is carried out in a lawful manner and meets the needs of the Agency. The Human Resources Specialist maintains loyalty to the organization, its beliefs, values, mission, vision, and expectations and to the recipients of services.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or other related field required. Experience in lieu of education may be accepted on a two for one basis in appropriate fields.
Two years of experience in Human Resources required.
