Our On-Boarding function is in the midst of driving positive large-scale change and is seeking a team member to help us continue leading by example, executing collaborative new hire strategies while sharing the resources needed for all new employees to make a smooth and positive transition.

A Day in the Life: As the first impression of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Headquarters, you will help shape the new employee experience beginning before day one. From coordinating incoming employees Day-1 instructions, to New Employee Orientation (NEO), new employee online internal engagement, creating targeted e-learning content and more, you will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of efforts within our On-Boarding Center. Although your primary focus will be to ensure an efficient, positive, and seamless transition for our employees, may also find yourself:
Contacting incoming employees prior to start date to answer questions and assist with completion of pre onboarding documentsExecuting Homeland Security procedures, I-9s and eVerify – Provide information on OBC policies and proceduresOpen and close OBC facility, ensuring rooms are secure, computers are updated, and room prep completeParticipating in strategic initiatives that will continue to enhance the new employee experience and further streamline the On-Boarding processesDeveloping relationships with SME’s across business functions to help ensure up to date and relevant content for our new hiresSupporting the execution of New Employee Orientation to ensure new hires, rehires, recalls, and transfers are supported and engaged about Lockheed Martin’s mission, values, and culture.
About You: In this role, your human resources experience coupled with your ability to positively engage with those around you, will help you succeed. Your ability to seek out answers to the unknown and the passion to persevere when encountering resistance is what sets you apart. Analytical and a critical thinker, you can make a positive impact providing data-driven people solutions that are efficient, effective, and flexible. Most likely, you are in your element presenting to a variety of audiences and communicate confidently when speaking to your work.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related fieldDemonstrated ability and experience as a facilitator or presenterAbility to work independently and execute projects with minimal supervision.Demonstrated experience using relevant software tools/solutions, e.g., Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project), SharePoint, Slack, Zoom, Box, etc.
Desired Skills:
At least two years of experience in one of the following areas: On-Boarding administration, Human Resources Business Partner, Employee Relations, Talent Management, Organizational DevelopmentPrior experience with applicant tracking systems such as Kenexa/BrassRing, processingI-9/ eVerifyPrior experience developing, recording, and producing e-learning content
Strong communication skills both oral and written and customer service orientationProject experience, including developing project plans, identifying stakeholders, preparing corresponding communication plans, identifying milestones, deadlines, and metrics to assess outcomes/resultsContinuous Improvement Training/MindsetChange Management Training/ExperienceStrong analytical skillsWorking knowledge of Lockheed Martin policies and procedures
