Position : Logistics Coordinator
Job Description : Havas Street is looking for a Part-Time Logistics Coordinator that will serve as a brand resource in their assigned territory for a major liquor portfolio. The Logistics Coordinator will report to Territory Managers for direction on market activity and weekly logistical needs. This part-time position requires up to (20 hours) per week and must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays when needed.Pay: $21/hr + mileage, phone, and internet stipendsResponsibilities: Overall management of company assets to support local programming while exercising care and following operating instructions, safety standards, and guidelinesCommunicate and work in cross-departmental collaboration on all projects included but not limited to POS and inventory management and event productionEffectively manage asset inventory at designated storage facilities including receiving deliveries, maintaining accurate inventory, breaking down boxes, etc.Assemble kits, manage distribution & maintain accurate inventory of assetsSupport logistical needs of sampling activations for On Premise events (setup & tear down)Organize, deliver/place permanent and temporary POS in accounts for activationEnsure superb execution of the brand’s strategy within designated format (non-premise, on/off premise)Ensure implementation of event safety elements including PPE, sanitizing elements, social distancing signage, etc.Off premise duties as required by local team-merchandising on shelf and inventory managementRequirements: Role focus is in Virginia. Candidates may live anywhere in Virginia but must be willing to travel as needed. Work is expected to be concentrated along I95 Corridor so NOVA, RVA, VA Beach are preferredAt least 1 year of experience in the adult-beverage industryAble to lift, load, unload and move product — up to 50 poundsHave a reliable vehicle (SUV preferred) with clean driving recordMust be comfortable driving every dayMust be comfortable with a schedule whose hours and markets vary day to dayHourly rate paid weekly; stipends paid monthly (phone, internet, travel)Candidates will be required to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 upon commencing employment.
