Job Description : Disney Streaming Services is a business unit within The Walt Disney Company’s Direct-to-Consumer and International (DTCI) segment that oversees all consumer-facing digital video subscription services across the company. Disney Streaming is responsible for developing and operating The Walt Disney Company’s direct-to-consumer video businesses globally, including the ESPN+ premium sports streaming service, programmed in conjunction with ESPN; the upcoming Disney SVOD service; and BAMTECH Media, a global leader in direct-to-consumer video streaming products and solutions. Its core mission is to deliver global audiences the freedom to access content on their terms across any connected device, time or location.

Manager, ESPN+ Fan Engagement will work across DMED and ESPN teams to support the development and execution of strategies that drive fan engagement across ESPN+ content and reduce churn.

Responsibilities :

Support the Senior Managers to develop insights from data, analytics with the Analytics team to drive
programs, concepts that maximize engagement of ESPN+ subscribers
Collaborate with all relevant groups at DMED and at ESPN including product, editorial, programming, production, analytics and Performance marketing to drive engagement
Track and manage follow ups for all retention/churn programs and efforts, including working closely with Data Analytics on results and insights, ensuring refinement and performance evaluation
Support implementation of product, content and marketing engagement programs across the appropriate group(s)
Develop an understanding of ESPN+ content and tools that drive effectiveness and engagement
Work closely with both DMED Analytics and ESPN Research teams as well as product and technology to ensure we have tooled ESPN Digital Products to maximize data, feedback and measurement of efforts to drive engagement

Basic Qualifications :

5+ years of relevant work experience
Keen understanding of ESPN Digital Products and fan behavior
Outstanding analytical skills
Ability to understand key consumer data
Strong strategic thinker
Ability to execute and follow up
Excellent communicator
In depth sports background
Willingness to roll up your sleeves and get involved.

Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding of key sports on ESPN Platforms
Experience with ESPN Digital products in a business setting
Ability to work well with others influence colleagues

Required Education :

BA Required

Preferred Education :

Advanced degree in business, data or another relevant field is preferred.
