We partner with brands and marketing companies to bring latest trends to the Beauty and Personal Care market.Essential Functions of Production Assistant: Makes picking listsReceiving/Picking rate analysisBacklogging/Checking for inventory errorsCreates SOP’s, working instructions, and other work processes and proceduresMonitors and tracks plant KPI’sPerforms problem solving and root cause analysisTraining of other employeesAssists, performs, and documents line trialsAny other task assigned by supervisor or managementWork with the Operational Excellence Division Leaders in Operation to identify and facilitate improvement projects.Assist in the development and deployment of our Operations Excellence program, and help provide visibility of the program across the entire departments.Leads complex, high-priority improvement projects, as directed by the COO, to provide the right level of leadership on critical projects and initiativesEngage cross-functional teams to drive implementation and maintain the latest technical knowledge of Lean and related principles, tools and methodologies.Oversee the standardization, implementation, and communication of organizational best practices and facilitate collaboration between the different operation sites to enable synergies of added value to operations and to the business.Skills and Qualifications RequiredSAP: 1-3 years- PreferredLogistics: 1- 3 years PreferredProficient in MS Office including Word, ExcelKnowledge of manufacturingAbility to multi-task, prioritize and focus in a fast paced environment.Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.Six to twelve months’ related experience required.Knowledge of tools (e.g. software) helpful in facilitating process improvement work.Come Join our teamJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offRetirement planVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
