Job Description : This job is for a warehouse position for a fast paced, fast growing lighting manufacturing company in Vero Beach, Florida.Responsibilities: Prepare packing materials, assemble packages for shipment and coordinate shipments as neededTrack and sort inventoryUse of hand tools for Drilling, Sanding, etc.Use of Miter Saw for cutting Aluminum to specified lengthsConduct routine quality checks on products, review the performance of the machines and adhere to stringent safety codesKeep warehouse clean and organizedOperate pallet jack and forklift for maintenance purposes as & when requiredInspect finished products for defects to ensure quality standards are metTransport raw materials from one place to anotherCommunicate effectively with coworkers to ensure efficient production and deadlines are metAssist in lifting, carrying and moving heavy loads as requiredPrint product labels as neededUpon completion of order packing, review all packing slips to assure proper completion by packerDesired Skills / Qualifications: Excellent organization and problem-solving skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritizeEffective team playerSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyCarpentry or electrical experience a plusSkills in the construction, repair, restoration, and installationJob Type: Full-timePay: From $15.00 per hourBenefits:401(k) matchingHealth insurancePaid time offSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Warehouse: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
