Job Description : Title: Materials Planner IV
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports to: Manager
Pay Status: Salary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities may include:
Seconded to the Drilling and Wells group as an embedded with the single point of contact on materials and materials scheduling matters.
Maintains project well support materials schedule based on Well support needs.
Provides material analysis input to well execution plans and development.
Reviews relevant documents for compliance and quality control.
Collaborates with Wells engineers to provide material updates.
Facilitates material status meetings with relevant business partners on a regular basis.
Maintains and reports on material sourcing through approved suppliers and freight forwarders.
Generates requisitions and expedites purchase/service orders.
Accurately maintains electronic and hard copy procurement files and records as per COP Records
Management Policy:
Communicates effectively with suppliers to expedite materials and resolve delays.
Generates and submits requests for quotation documents as necessary.
Prepare technical or commercial bid evaluation documents and submit for engineering review and
May determine material take-offs and substitutions based on well specifications and drawings and submitting for engineering review and approval.
Will comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S, citizen or national or an alien admitted as permanent resident, refugee or asylee
10+ years oil and gas related experience
5+ years Wells materials related experience
Advanced knowledge of drilling and completion materials and equipment
Advanced commercial and market knowledge
Advanced knowledge of end to end procurement process
Intermediate knowledge of SAP and SAP reporting
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong background in data analytics
Advanced interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Advanced problem resolution skills.
Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to work with suppliers and associated businesses in an ethical and honest manner.
Maintain a disciplined approach to results achievement with an ability to develop goals that support the teams objectives.
Willingness and ability to understand and support corporate and/or local procurement strategies and objectives.
Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments by holding others accountable and standing up for what’s right.
