Job Description : Job Overview:

Nurse Aide Training program accepting applications for the 80 hour “paid” course to prepare you for the compassionate career of becoming a Certified Nurse Aide. We can provide you with the opportunity to have hands on learning from our experienced staff. We have a 2 week program of competencies that will give you the knowledge to sit for the state certification. Paid – 8 hour training course – Hands on Training with our Experienced Nurses, 80 hours of on the job training with the opportunity to apply for the CNA Registry.
No School Needed, for a limited time only.
As a Nurse Aide Trainee, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties. The Nurse Aide Trainee works under the direction of licensed personnel to provide quality resident care in accordance with applicable regulations.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide direct care in accordance with treatment plans as directed by the Nurse Manager.
Treat all residents and patients fairly, with kindness, dignity and respect.
Answer resident call lights to address specific needs.
Assist with general activities of daily living and accompany residents to various activities and functions.
Aide in development of resident treatment plans and complete required care documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Demonstrate proper infection control practices/policies.
Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
Facilitate social visits to room-bound residents via FaceTime, Phone or Skype.
Assist ONLY in two person transfers or lifting with certified or licensed personnel.
Report any injuries of an unknown source, including skin
Deliver all medications found in the resident’s room/possession to the clinical nurse.
Report any hazardous conditions and equipment to the Nurse Manager immediately.
Demonstrate a passion for caring with co-workers, residents, families, and visitors.
Demonstrate a passion for caring with co-workers, residents, families, and visitors.
Must possess excellent interpersonal, coordinating, and organizational skills.
Must be able to manage multiple tasks at one time.
Must possess the ability and willingness to deal with other personnel, residents and family members.
Education
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Career Ladder
Completion of the 8-hour course and following clinical skills checklist allows testing to become a Certified Nurse Assistant – that comes with a pay increase!
Nursing Aide Trainees are encouraged to seek a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
