Job Description : We’re looking for an Office and Human Resources Manager to join the team at Stone Aerospace and affiliated companies in Austin, TX. We are a cutting-edge small business working to expand the limits of human and robotic exploration, as well as bringing new technologies to market. This is a full time position for our team, focused on day-to-day operations at our Austin location. The person in this role must be able to perform high-quality work while fitting into our small, highly dynamic team. We value diversity and encourage people from all backgrounds to apply, even if you do not meet all of the preferred qualifications.Job description:Human Resources responsibilities:Coordinate team-building activities and other company events.Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding processes.Assist with and ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll.Facilitate yearly reviews by maintaining and organizing job descriptions, performance evaluations, and compensation data.Interface with company payroll and benefits providers.Maintain confidentiality of all personnel issues and information.Prepare, update, and recommend changes to human resource policies and procedures.Investigate employee issues and conflicts, and actively address them with management.Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state, and federal labor regulations.Manage other Human Resources responsibilities as needed.Office Management responsibilities:Maintain office and kitchen supplies.Manage on-site visits for guests and customers.Manage meeting and conference room(s), and office communications.Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, mail, and packages.Support procurement activities such as quoting, ordering, shipping, and receiving.Maintain company’s registration with government, customer, and vendor systems.Manage building security and maintenance services.Assist staff in completion of recurring administrative tasks.Required Traits:Energetic and highly motivated.Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and with a team.Detail oriented and organized.Ability to handle highly confidential information with professionalism and integrity.Knowledge of regulations and best practices relating to human resources.Demonstrated empathy skills.Authorized to work in the US for any employer.Desirable Traits:Experience with Google Workspace tools.Experience with a small business or startup environment.Experience with engineering processes.Notary, or ability to become licensed as a Texas Notary.Job Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insurancePaid time offSchedule:Monday to FridayApplication Question(s):Please describe any experience you have with organizing company teambuilding events and activities.Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:office management: 1 year (Preferred)Human resources: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:Certified Notary Public (Preferred)Work Location: One location
