Position : Part-Time Cleaner
Job Description : Wasilla Sleep Center is seeking a part-time janitor who will perform a variety of cleaning tasks to keep our facility in a clean, healthy, and orderly standard. We are a full-service sleep disorders center dedicated to serving the community with unparalleled patient care. Our staff is devoted to providing knowledge, caring, and understanding to all of our patients.Work hours: 6-8 hours per week, Tuesday – Friday / Monday – Thursday.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Vacuum, sweep and mop floor in all areas, including front office, patient rooms, and back officeDust and/or sanitize surfaces in patient rooms and administrative areasCollect dirty laundry, iron linen, make beds, prepare patient rooms for sleep studiesClean and disinfect restroomEmpty trash containers and take out trashCreate and maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment· Maintain a clean and organized storage area for cleaning equipment and suppliesDemonstrate a professional and positive demeanor with patients and staff membersReport all facility maintenance issues to appropriate personnelPerform other duties and special cleaning projects as assignedRequired Qualifications: At least 18 years of age or older to applyOne year janitorial experience in a similar settingKnowledge of general cleaning practices and proceduresAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in writingAbility to understand and follow written instructionsAttention to detailAbility to multi-task and work independently in the absence of supervisionPhysical Demands: Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and use hands and armsFrequently required to kneel, crouch, crawl, balance, and stoopRegularly required to lift up to 25 pounds. Occasionally required to lift up to 50 poundsRequired usage of cleaning chemicals and cleaning toolsJob Type: Part-timeWork Location: One location
