Position : Part-Time Counterterrorism Intelligence Support Analyst/Watch Officer
Job Description : Duties: Responsibilities for this position are focused on monitoring terrorist and rebel activities around the world, collecting terrorist and rebel produced content and supporting full-time analysts on special projects. Language skills, attention to detail, strong writing skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are critical. The work is in support of the intelligence, military and law enforcement communities. Customers are analysts and operators. IntelCenter does not provide policy support or work in any aspect of the political arena. Four core areas of work within the terrorist to rebel group spectrum are targeting, tactics, operational aspects and messaging (including videos and threat statements).Requirements: Must have at least a bachelor’s degree and one year of professional counterterrorism intelligence experienceStrong critical thinking and writing skills requiredMust be driven and passionate about the work and missionMust be able to handle massive amounts of information under time pressureExperience with i2’s Analyst Notebook, CartoDB, Tableau, Babel Street, OpenIO, facial recognition software and other analytical and visualization software is a plusAdvanced Mid or higher language skills on the ACTFL scale in at least one target language.
