Job Description : Responsibilities:
Perform incoming, in process & final inspection.
Performing inspections as per blueprints (GD&T), plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services.
Fostering a culture of ‘zero defects capable processes’ on the QA team.
Project Quality representative on projects for business
Elimination of issues that impact execution (Safety, Quality, Delivery &Cost).
Partnership and collaboration with Product Quality Engineers from other product lines to leverage best practices and lessons learned
Being the main interface with Supplier Quality Team for managing quality issues with suppliers.
Being the focal point with Clients with regards to Quality issues
Monitor Assembly, Testing activities.
Coordinate Client & Third party Witness Activities.
Plan, prepare and participate in Pre‐production meetings in‐house and at suppliers to ensure understanding of project quality requirements
Assist the project execution with root cause analysis and risk assessment
Ensure that internal and external requirements are understood and implemented in projects.
Collect information and communicate internally and externally (including customers & suppliers) to ensure completion of project requirements
Should company require extra inspection services from inspection agencies specify the inspection requirements and provide guidance to the selected agency.
Initiate and ensure preventive and corrective action activities are executed as necessary(CAPA/ 8D)
Measure product dimensions, examine functionality and compare the final product to the specifications.
Project Documentation review completion & Review.
Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
Calibration of Measuring & Monitoring Instruments.
Perform Quality surveillance and reporting according to internal requirements
Participate in cross‐functional teams to implement targeted and tangible quality improvements. Problem solving with help of QC tools.
Adhering & maintaining the IMS requirements (ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015, 45001:2018).
Requirements:
Mechanical Engineering (B.E/B.Tech).
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role (Oil & Gas will be added advantage).
Experience in Manufacturing shop floor.
Exposure to all measuring instruments like (Vernier callipers, inside & outside micrometres, Height gauge, Dial gauges e.t.c)
Exposure in MS Office.
Exposure in SAP.
Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
Proficiently Interact with all levels of internal and external positions with ability to persuade, influence and facilitate problem resolution.
Preferred Skills:
Certification on NDT methods Level II (RT,PT,MPT,UT).
Expertise in welding inspection.
Knowledge in ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015, 45001:2018
