Job Description : This is a fantastic new role working for a Private Family who are just in the process of moving to Surrey. This role is 70% Private support and 30% business support and will be based at the family home although you will be able to work from your own home on occasion but to be clear this is not a hybrid role. The Principal manages multiple family offices in Asia and India and London so you will be required to support the family from their home in Surrey incorporating some business support. There are EA’s in the other offices so you will need to liaise with them on business/private matters. The family have two young children (10 & 13) and a family dog!

As part of the household your role will include working alongside a live in House Manager and other full time household staff including a permanent private Chef and two ousekeepers. Part of your role will be to oversee and manage the household budget as well as extensive expense management (so you should be good with numbers and Excel at least to intermediate level as they will expect you to create pivot tables).

The Principal has an EA based in Singapore and one in India and the second Principal lives in Surrey and his EA works from the office in London so you will of course collaborate globally with regard to all scheduling for the family, travel planing, event planning and healthcare management etc.

This is an all encompassing role for someone who enjoys a mix of business/private support. You will need to be flexible with regard to location of the role as you will need to run errands – source shopping for items and manage projects and keep spreadsheet for travel, events, gift buying and school information etc.

This role is working for a lovely family and the majority of their staff abroad are all long serving members and the family expect you to be very much in charge of your role and do not micro manage their PA.

You should be someone with excellent interpersonal skills, calm and confident and who is solutions driven and enjoys systems and processes and the mix of some business but predominantly private PA support.

The ideal candidate will need to have excellent technical skills and a minimum of six years of business /private PA experience and whilst the core hours are principally 9-6 Monday to Friday you must be prepared to be flexible of course as expected in a role at this level.

This is an exciting role for a total professional with discretion and attention to detail and the ability to make the role their own. You must hold a British Driving License as you will need to drive their car or run errands on occasion.
