Job Description : Program ManagerPosition DescriptionReports to the Operations Director Responsibilities The Program Manager responsibilities include management of Hawaiian Community Assets’ Maui Financial Opportunity Center, staff, and volunteers to meet the organization’s performance goals for Maui County.Coordinate and conduct renter and homebuyer education workshopsConduct individualized counseling for clients enrolled in HCA’s renter, homebuyer, homeowner, and financial capability programsProvide case management from client enrollment and exit from HCA match savings accounts and Hawaii Community Lending (HCL) loansRefer clients to employment coaching, small business training, and additional resources and services to address their financial and housing needsDevelop and maintain partnerships with employment and small business service providers, housing developers, County agencies, and other key partnersPackage clients for USDA mortgage financing and submit for funding and/or quality reviewMaintain office and client records, both paper and electronic, in accordance with HUD and National Industry Standards for HUD housing counseling agenciesMaintain communication with clients in accordance with HUD regulations and standardsQuality review HCA and HCL financial products submitted by direct report staff/volunteers and submit to designated product administratorsManage grant/contract reporting and invoicing as assigned by Program DirectorCoordinate and conduct monthly team meetings with Program Director and/or direct report staff/volunteers to review client pipelines and provide trainingReview, sign, and submit direct report staff/volunteer time sheets to designated payroll administratorAssist with implementation of HCA disciplinary policy for direct report staff/volunteersCoordinate and conduct annual employee evaluations for direct report staff/volunteersPerform other duties as assigned by the Program DirectorThis is a 32-hour work week, full-time position. This position is located in Wailuku/Kahului with services to be delivered throughout Maui County.Minimum Job Requirements 1+ years of experience managing employees 1+ years of experience training individuals, including co-workers, volunteers, and/or community members HUD Certification in Homeownership Education and Counseling (secured within 3 months of employment) Ability to teach in group settings Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office© (i.e. Word, Excel, Access, Publisher) and online platforms (i.e. Zoom, Microsoft Teams) Advanced knowledge of the renter and home buying process Strong oral and written communication skills Comfortable speaking one-on-one with individuals and in front of families and groups Ability to work independently or as part of a team Must be at least 18 and have a High School Diploma/GEDPreferred Knowledge and understanding of Hawaiian culture and valuesExperience in finance, housing, lending, or educationKnowledge of online platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft TeamsBasic understanding of Hawaiian Home LandsWillingness travel and work weekends and outside of regular office hours (M-F, 8a-5p) when necessaryCompensation Salaried position: Range $45,000 – $55,000 annuallyPaid Time OffHealthcare, Group Life Insurance, Temporary Disability, and Workers Compensation Insurance401(k) match after 12 months of employmentProfessional development trainings in Hawaii and the continental United StatesJob Type: Full-timePay: $45,000.00 – $55,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insurancePaid time offProfessional development assistanceVision insuranceSchedule:10 hour shift12 hour shift8 hour shiftWeekend availabilityEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Work Location: One location
