Job Description : GENERAL SUMMARY

SPX Flow is looking for a Project Coordinator who will be responsible for the execution of mechanical mixers and other engineered projects. It is essential to maintain a high degree of focus on cost, quality, schedule, and client acceptance. Project Management directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of projects within the area of assigned responsibility by performing the following duties personally or through designated associates.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

Manage projects and resources in accordance with internal business processes (i.e., IDEFs) to ensure requirements are effectively delivered across the project cycles of: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring, Controlling, and Closure.
Coordinate use of appropriate reporting systems, manufacturing processes, quality programs and processes to achieve project goals. Ensure compliance with existing process requirements and ISO.
Plan, organize, direct and coordinate activities to exploit opportunities, manage risk and achieve contract costs, schedules, and performance requirements. Ensure the project succeeds in meeting all targets, delivery schedules and technological advantage.
Coordinate and execute all phases of assigned projects. Establish Project Teams based on the objectives and maintain team effectiveness during project execution.
Develops and maintains a schedule and budget for the assigned project(s).
Provides reports on the status of project milestones and adjusts schedules accordingly. Provides progress reports to customers, project team, and management.
Identifies and manages sub-contract vendors as required for project completion.
Manage project expenditures to ensure strict adherence to approved budgets.
Assigns and oversees project personnel to specific phases or aspects of project such as technical studies, product design, preparation of specifications and technical plans, and product testing.
Evaluates and monitors performance of sub-contract vendors for satisfactory performance to quality and delivery standards.
Interfaces with internal and external (if applicable) customers to provide project status reports and ensure customer needs are met.

SKILLS

Certification related to Project Management would be an added advantage.
Customer oriented & Results oriented
Highly developed communication skills, both verbal and written
Well-developed skills in appropriate software applications (MS Project, Microsoft, SAP)
Knowledge of mechanical and process engineered equipment
Balance driving for results with collaboration, gaining buy-in from key stakeholders
Ability to network with colleagues and to have a good relationship with customers
Business minded and pro-active
Demonstrated financial acumen and ability to utilize financial systems to support projects
Understanding of commercial contractual terms for large scale projects (e.g., liability, penalty clauses)
Able to effectively manage within a matrixed organization
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum BE in Mechanical Engineering in regular course from recognized institute and university

Around 5-6 years’ relevant experience in Process / manufacturing experience in Food and Beverage / Pharmaceutical / Industrial equipment / EPC’s industry Or Similar industry, preferred.
