The Role Responsibilities
Strategy
Drive revenue growth and client flows in the new asset classes (Asia derivatives and cash fixed-income products)
Provide regular and timely updates of risk and pricing information as required
Contribute to automation and product development, while taking ownership for the operational risk in the Bank’s front to back processes
Demonstrate awareness of the Group business strategy, and drive alignment with the wider Financial Markets strategy
Processes

Ensure adherence to all internal and external regulations
Ensure adherence individually within the team with the obligations to prevent money laundering under
the Group Policy and Standards and under local laws and regulations
Take the responsibility for highlighting any need to update procedures and controls as a result of
changes in products, systems, policy or regulations

Risk Management

Comply with the risk management processes in place
Ensure a full understanding of the risk and control environment in area of responsibility
Regulatory & Business Conduct

Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
Lead the Energy transition desk to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles
Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Internal

Relationship Managers, Credit and Risk Officers, FM Sales, Legal and Compliance, Regional FM team, Support functions incl. Operations, Finance and Technology
External: Brokers, Traders, Peer Group at other Banks
