Job Description : Research ScientistLocation: Union Beach, NJPay Rate: $25-$27 per hourHours: 8:00AM – 4:30PM Monday – FridayWe currently have an outstanding career opportunity with a global leader in the Fragrance and Flavors Industry.This role would be a career opportunity for an individual looking to get the foot in the door with an outstanding growth oriented organization.Duties: Responsible for gathering real world evidence for wellness benefits of scent, taste and nutrition productsWork closely with principal investigators and be responsible for 1) executing a broad set of sleep research studies 2) executing a broad set of cognition research studies using biometrics and behavioral measures 3) executing a broad set of psychophysics studies 4) maintaining lab equipment, trouble shooting, record keeping and general up-keep of the labThis position is responsible for ensuring standards of quality are met by adhering to strict testing and safety protocols.Requirements: A BS in Life Sciences/Physical Sciences or related field (e.g. Biomedical Engineering) is required.Strong science background with some research experienceYou must be extremely well organized, detail-oriented with excellent at record-keeping.This position requires one-on-one interaction with study participants including preparing them for neurophysiological recordings, therefore it is critical for this person to be extremely comfortable with performing these tasks.This is an immediate career opportunity.
