Job Description : Job descriptionWell-established design-build custom home builder seeking an experienced residential Project Manager to work in the greater Richmond area. Our company has been locally owned and operated for 17 years, looking to have our most successful year yet, and we need to hire another project manager to handle our increased work load. Ideal candidates are experienced enough to supervise the construction of a custom home, but also can manage the often difficult expectations and questions that arise from the design-build process.POSITION SUMMARY:The Project Manager directs, manages and executes project management duties on houses that have been assigned to the PM. The Project Manager is in the field on a daily basis and reports directly to the Production Manager.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:-Plan, coordinate, and oversee the construction of complex custom homes from permit to move in, and subsequent service/warranty work.-Act as the primary liaison/contact with the client for the duration of the project-Oversee and ensure workmanship conforms to plans, specifications, and meets highest quality of construction-Schedule, coordinate and implement all aspects of rough and finish construction processes-Supervise hourly workers-Able to communicate on a daily/regular basis with customers-Inspect and monitor projects to ensure compliance with building and safety codes and other regulations-Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude at all timesMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Significant experience as a construction manager or in a similar position in construction managementExperience managing custom homes ranging in price for 400-1mil.Exceptional organizational, time management, and decision-making/problem-solving skillsExcellent interpersonal skills with a proactive client focusStrong computer skills including Microsoft OfficeValid state-issued driver’s license and good driving recordMinimum 50 homes built in a supervisory capacityOur compensation package is very competitive and includes salary, health care, retirement savings with company matching contribution, paid vacation and holidays, and company logo’d clothing.Please send your resume and salary requirements to this listing.Job Type: Full-timePay: $85k – $100k+Job Type: Full-timePay: $85,000.00 – $100,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Health insuranceSupplemental Pay:Bonus payWork Location:Multiple locationsWork Remotely:NoWork Location: Multiple Locations
