As an Infertility Registered Nurse, you will work closely with our physicians and team members in the clinic, IVF, and our office-based surgery center. Surgery Center roles include pre-op, circulating, and PACU to manage the patient plan of care and procedures. The infertility nurse is compassionate, organized, detail-oriented, and has excellent communication skills. Our clinic is growing, and we want you to join our exceptional team!Patient Navigator Clinic Responsibilities:Clinic Nurse: Primary responsibilities will be to coordinate and orchestrate the clinical operation of the Physician’s daily patient load. This role will be working closely with other support staff (such as Medical Assistants) to assure the highest level of patient care, education, and communication, including gynecologic and Infertility diagnostic tests, treatment plans, and coordination between labs and IVF staff and Physicians.IVF Monitoring: The primary role for this position is responsible for assessment, treatment procedures, and skills related to fertility treatment and the care of our patients. Must be able to take direction from the Physician about specific patient care concerns. Attentive to details and have a desire to develop professionally. Other duties include assisting and improving operational efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability of the business.Office-Based Surgery Center Roles:Pre-op, circulating, and PACU: responsible for ensuring that patients receive professional nursing care during their procedure. The RN’s will also be responsible for coordinating patient care functions within the clinic and with other disciplines and providers. The Pre-Op/PACU nurses will administer diligent care to outpatients via monitoring, assessment, intervention, and continuous reassessment. The post-anesthesia care unit nurse (PACU nurse) will care for post-operative patients recovering from anesthesia, including general, regional, and local anesthesia.This role is a full-time position, including shared weekend rotations.RequirementsAssociate degree (Required) BLS/ACLS- American Heart Association, RN – Registered Nurse – Ohio Board of NursingOB-GYN or Infertility experience is preferredWeekend and holiday shifts coverage is on a rotating, on-call, as necessary basis. Previous experience in L&D, OR circulating or PACU, Pre-Op, and previous ambulatory surgery experience is preferred*Women’s Health or Fertility experience preferred but not requiredPhysical Requirements:The physical requirements listed represent those that a Registered Nurse may face – Circulator, Pre-Op, or PACU throughout their scope of employment.
