Job Description : Brown Safety Consulting has an immediate need for a full-time safety consultant for a project two year construction project on the campus of Penn State University in State College, PA. Our client, a large national general contractor, is building two engineering building on campus and is trusting us to provide an experienced safety professional to provide safety support. The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of construction safety experience, a degree in safety, or construction experience from the trades. The candidate must also be a great communicator, have the ability to manage the clients safety program, review safety plans and JHAs, and identify at risk behaviors and conditions and assist with corrective actions. This position provides $600.00 per week per diem for candidates that live 75 miles or more from State College, PA.Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hourBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceSchedule:10 hour shiftCOVID-19 considerations:At the present time, mask optional.
