Job Description : Position Description: HelpDesk/Assessment SupportTimeline: 2021-2022 School YearAbout Bromley East Charter School: Since 2001, Bromley East Charter School has actively promoted choice, critical thinking, problem-solving, and character development of the whole child, enabling students to achieve academic excellence in a safe environment.About the Position: Bromley East Charter school is seeking a HelpDesk/Assessment Support to join the Technology Team. This position will support the staff and students with technical support and troubleshooting. Additionally the position will support our school assessments and work directly with the Assessment Team to facilitate all testing.Salary Range: Commensurate with experience and educationStarting at $21.00/hourContract Days: 205Benefits: Medical, dental, & vision insuranceHealth savings plan ($2,400 employer contribution per year)Flexible spending plan401(k), 403(b), 457, Roth IRA’sDisability insuranceLife insurancePaid time offColorado PERA retirement planEmployee Assistance ProgramDuties and Responsibilities: Provide technology support for service calls, emails, and walk-ins. This includes finding solutions for hardware and software issues. Resolving calls, creating tickets, following up with clients and documenting solutions.Work with vendors and contracted companies for software support and hardware repair. Coordinating warranties and maintaining accurate records.Assists with acquisition and testing of new equipment and software.Maintains technology department inventory of hardware and technology supplies.Coordinates school assessment database systems, including but not limited to CMAS, eduClimber, Fastbridge, Illuminate, Dibels, CogAT and ACCESS.Integrate and upgrade technology solutions for assessments, student data and data visualizations in order to serve BECS initiatives.Research and troubleshoot student level data anomalies or system eros is assessments systems.Manage the distribution of testing materials and assure secure/ethical testing procedures are implemented.Assessment technical liaison between 27jsd and contracted assessment companies.Facilitate the assessment team meetings and ensure all departments are meeting requirements and deadlines.Other duties as assigned by the Technology Director.Experience: 2 to 3 years’ experience in providing technical support for computer systems and networks.Experience with school and district assessments preferred.Experience in an educational environment.Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education/experience.A+ Certification preferred.Experience with supporting end-users with Windows, Mac, Chrome OS and Google Workspace.Experience with set up, maintenance, and troubleshooting of software, hardware and peripherals in a cross-platform environment.Excellent communication skills.Excellent organizational skills.Working Conditions: Frequent bending, reaching, climbingModerate physical effort (lifting up to 25 pounds)Visual concentration on equipmentPushing and pullingWorking with othersApplication Instructions: Bromley East Charter School actively seeks applications from the most capable, professional candidates.
