Job Description : The main duty of the security guard is to provide protection for the facility’s staff and product. They serve as the gatekeeper for the building, by administering visitors’ badges, and enforcing the sign in/out policy. They also monitor the security systems to ensure that a safe work environment is upheld.Job duties includeProtect company’s property and staff by maintaining a secure and safe environmentInvestigate and take detailed notes of any unusual occurrences inside or outside of the building.Monitor security cameras and software to ensure company compliance is being metControl access to the building by issuing visitor badges and enforcing the sign in/out policyVerify the identity of any visitors, confirming their appointments and alerting personnel that their visitor has arrived.REQUIREDBasic computer skills (typing, creating a word document, email)PREFERREDExperience in security monitoringJob Type: Full-timePay: $16.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offReferral programVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayApplication Question(s):In order to work with us you must be able to pass a criminal background check.Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Work Location: One location
