Job Description : ALASKA STEEL COMPANYAlaska Steel Co. is seeking dependable applicants for warehouseman and driver positions. Duties include, but not limited to:-Operating independently while putting safety first-Pulling/processing customer orders-Interpreting written and verbal instruction-Perform basic math functions-Shipping and receiving stock-Operation of equipment such as overhead crane, forklift, bandsaw, etc-Properly filling out paperwork and maintaining material traceabilityRequirements:-Successful applicant must have a valid AK driver’s license and be able to pass pre-employment drug screening-Able to work long hours on your feet and ability to lift up to 75 lbsExperience in the construction industry is a plus but not required. We will train the right person!
