Job Description : Storeroom ClerkThe Opportunity: The Storeroom Clerk is responsible to issue, store, price and rotate all incoming merchandise for the Westin Kierland Resort and Spa. Fulfill requisitions, keep the storeroom clean at all times. Perform any additional task related to the department.Job duties include but are not limited to:Issue, store, price and rotate all incoming merchandise for the hotel.Ensure that all requisitions are filled on a timely basis in accordance with storeroom hours and outlet request.Work together closely with receiving to ensure a smooth exchange from receiving to storage.Ensure that all goods received are stored in their proper areas at all times.Ensure that all storerooms are locked when unattended.Maintain perpetual inventory records for all liquor and wine on current basis.Ensure all goods are stocked in designated areas.Ensure all beverage requisitions are handled as per established procedures.Assist in all daily, weekly, month end, or quarterly inventories as needed.Who We Look For: Ideal candidate will have:Must have a commitment to follow all Marriott policies and procedures, as they relate to the Purchasing Department.Must be able to work in a safe, prudent and organized manner and be able to promote teamwork.Must be fluent in English reading, speaking and writingMust be able to stand all day, and lift boxes over 50LbPrevious work in a Purchasing Department preferred.Must be able to stand/walk up to 8 hours per shift.Rewards for work, benefits for your lifestyleYou’ll be supported in and out of the workplace through:Discounts on hotel rooms, gift shop items, food and beverageLearning and development opportunitiesRecognition programsWellbeing programsEncouraging managementTeam-spirited colleaguesVisa Requirements: US work authorization is requiredMarriott International is an equal opportunity employer.
